Movie Review (Fate Of The Furious)

Movie Review:

“FATE OF THE FURIOUS”

I will try my best not to deliver too many spoilers in this review.  There will be some.  So if you haven’t seen it, you may want to wait.  Just a heads up!

I finally got the chance to see the movie today.  I was too excited.  Let me tell you, it sure did live up to the hype too. I enjoyed every minute of the movie.  Everyone lived up to the their acting levels.  What really impressed me was how they bought almost everyone into this movie.  Some had small roles, others, bigger roles.  I was excited to see how they would proceed without Paul Walker.  To say I was impressed is a small feat.  They kept the fast driving in play with some running and a lot of fighting.  What I loved was how EVERYONE came together for a common goal.  You don’t have to like each other to respect someone’s skills or for you to come together to get to the end result.  I mean they bought Owen AND his mother back in this one.

What broke my heart was the loss of Elena.  I do wish they would have found a way to keep her in the series.  I was impressed how Shaw interacted with the baby.  Baby?  Yes, Elena had a baby.  Of course I’m still trying to calculate the time frame and that’s the one thing that’s not really adding up right now.  Other than that, the cute lil’ baby boy pulled at my heart strings.  It was enough to make me smile a big smile.  The reason for Dom going against his team was a vital one.  I like how he played it. I love how the whole plan was thoroughly thought out.  Kind of reminded of Furious 5.

Overall: Great movie.  Well written and filmed.  Enjoyed every moment.
